Mayor Gavin Newsom Kicks-Off Crunch's Inaugural SF Train for Charity Event
Benefitting  Shape Up San Francisco

Shape Up San Francisco, the Mayor's Citywide Initiative, Aims to Create Environments that Promote Healthy Eating and Active Living While Decreasing Disease and Disparities Using Culturally- and Age-Appropriate Strategies

WHAT: Mayor Gavin Newsom kicks-off Crunch's Train for Charity event on Tuesday, February 10th. Crunch's certified staff of personal trainers will offer guests the opportunity to experience an expert personal training session while simultaneously benefitting the community of San Francisco. All proceeds will be donated to Shape Up San Francisco to fund initiatives that encourage healthy eating habits and active lifestyles including Soda Free Summers, Walking Challenge, After School for All and Shape Up Bayview Hunters Point Garden Project.

DONATION INFORMATION:
Suggested minimum donation of $30 for a 30-minute session
Suggested minimum donation of $50 for a 60-minute session
There will also be a raffle for gift certificates and products from local businesses. Regardless of participation in the training sessions, the raffle is open to the public and tickets may be purchased for $10.

ADVANCE RESERVATIONS:
Advance reservations are strongly recommended. Call or stop by each location for reservations. Walk-ins welcome on the day of the event.

WHY: Participants will receive a customized training session to fit their individual fitness goals from certified Crunch fitness training experts and learn tricks and tools that can help jumpstart or support any fitness routine. Additional festivities include VIP guest appearances, giveaways and special Crunch membership offers. Support Shape Up San Francisco and get in shape at the same time.
